Dance in Dialogue (DID) provides an intimate space for artists share new works-in-progress with immediate audience engagement as part of our mission to invigorate Eugene’s contemporary dance culture.
Encouraging experimentation and collaboration to create meaningful exchanges between artists and the broader community, DID includes emerging and seasoned choreographers, cross-disciplinary endeavors, and movement-based processes from art disciplines outside of dance.
Three to five artists are selected to present at each showing based on an application process that includes a description of the work in process and reasons for wanting to present in this context. A moderator facilitates a process for audience feedback and dialogue to support presenting artists and create a dynamic relationship between audience and performer.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more info about applying for upcoming D.i.D. showings! Work in all stages of development are welcome to apply!
